The AFRC is a centre of excellence in forming and forging and is home to some of the world's most advanced forming and forging technology.

Excited by technology and obsessed with solving the toughest metallics related manufacturing problems, our engineers and researchers work under 5,680 M² of world-leading research space dedicated to making products and processes better for over 15 years.

AFRC houses kit that is perfectly sized for ground-breaking research that is transferable to industry. Crucially, it provides a safe space to explore and test new materials and processes away from the pressure of the production line.
